• £50,000 DAMAGES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) LONDON, July 18. Mr W.-H.-Lever, head of the firm of Lever 8r05.,--soap manufactui era has instituted a prosecution against the “ Daily Mail ” and “ Evening News,” for libel S with the Soap' Trust. He Hjfttadares' that the attacks on the trust him in a few weeks £40.000 on sales while two millions’ worth of £lO preference shares of the firm declined £l each besides: other losses on ordinary ■bores and good-will.
