AUCKLAND, This DayA motorman and conductor of a car were charged at the Court by the Traffic Inspector with refusing to stop at a recognised stopping place, the car was not full, and passengers were waiting. It was • admitted that the car did not slop, but it was pleaded that passengers should signal by raisiug their hand or stick. The Magistrate said if this was so it was certainly som fchisg people should be acquainted with, and it was not customary to signal. The case against the conductor was withdrawn, and judgment reerved.
