Submarine Explosion.

' A GREAT LAVA SPOUT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) SUVA, Yesterday. The Navua, which arrived on Saturday, from Auckland, reports a startling submarine eruption thirty miles from Tongatabu, the chief island of the Friendly Group. Large quanties of lava were thrown to a height of 250 ft above the surface of the water. There is at present no other news concerning this phenomenon. J
