Canned Meats.

SYDNEY, YesterdayMr Dacey, member for Alexandria asked the Colonial Secretary if he was aware of a considerable amount or meat unfit for consumption had been slaughtered that was being used in connection with the supply of tinned meats for the Indian Army and would he make an inquiry of a - certain business carried on at Botany f( *afew years past Waddell replied that a certain man was being watched, but so far had eluded the authorities. He was a Ghinaman and very clever, while he had a soliij P lB^311 ®® bad meat being sold, it was untrue that it was going on in a wholesale manner.
