Printing Electoral Rolls.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.)

WELLINGTON, This Day.

A deputation consisting of Davey, Witty, Greenslade, Jennings and Gray, M’s.H.R., waited on the Colonial Secretary to-day to complain of the practice of having the main rolls of the principal electoral districts printed at the Government Printing Office. In reply to the deputation, Dr. Findlay stated he was sure it was not the desire of the Government to come into competition with honest enterprise. If there was not some insuperable obstacle he agreed with the deputation that the main rolls should be printed by private enterprise. He would bring the matter before the Cabinet as early as possible.
