AUCKLAND, This Day. > Benjamin Rowsell, aged 42, suicided last night. Medical men held him in high esteem, and his death caused a great shock. He had travelled the islands • especially to study elaphantitis, Jand had been here for the last eighteen months. He left a letter saying his body would be found either in the cemetery at Parnell or at Orakei. A searoh was made yesterday morning and the body was found in Parnell. Rawsell apparently committed suicide by poisoning. He was understood to have been embarrassed about money matters. <
