Elton Company Bellringers.

The above company will appear in the Public Hall Te Aroha, on Wednesday 29th May. The Ballarat Star, in speaking of the company of refined lady and gentlemen artists, says: Miss Grace Elton’s performances on the bells, violin, banjej, and mandolin, and the tasteful

manner which accompanies her various items, command's foi-her, hearty recognition and genuine recalls. The bellringing was clever and -well given, and the best e er heard here, being exquisitely sweet and harmonious. Miss Etton is very energetic, being on the stage in almost every number, either as a pianist, Vocalist, or. instrumentalist, and also takes part in concerted numbers. Mr Fred Elton’s character sketches were nimitable, and kept the audience in a ripple of laughter ; his facial contortions drew much merit and appreciation. Miss Winnie Rhodes comes on the stage with a large “ deluthering ” smile, which each oue immediately appropriates to himself. She has a beautiful voice, and her dainty dances bring forth rounds of applause. Mr F. M< yinott is the possessor of a fine voice, and is a talented elocutionist and comedian. Mr Meymott as a humourist is energetic in his fuDnyisms, and his latest humorous song, “ If There Hadn’t Been an Apple on the Tree,” met with great success, and the crowded house insisted on an encore. In point of fact, is one of the best companies that has gTvisited this town.” * The box plan is now open at Keesing’s, tobacconist, where 3s seats can be secured for 2s 6d by booking at once.
