ANNUAL DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES.

(From a Correspondent.) On Thursday last, at the To Aroha West School the annual presentation of prizes took place. Mr Ferguson, the chairman of the School Committee, made the 'presentations, and, addressing the children, said it gave him great pleasure i to give out their prizes that day for two j reasons. Firstly, because he knew they [ wore all getting on very nicely with their , work , the Inspector’s reports showed that. Secondly, because he knew they would all have worked well even with-
