Honours for the Premiers.
(By Telegraph-—Press Association.) LONDON, Yesterday. Mr Deakin has accepted the honorary benchership of Gray’s Inn, membership of the Middle Temple, and freedom of the cities of Manchester and Edinburg but declined a Privy Councillorship. Sir Joseph Ward accepts a Doetorship of Laws of Dublin Unversity,
the last meeting of the Thames C'ounty Council it was decided to increase the salarv of Mr W. S. Clank (secretary and treasurer) £25 per year. Praise was awarded Mr Clark for the very able manner in which he had performed his duties since his appointment.
