Mount Ruapehu.

Tho Auckland correspondent of the “ Star ” telegraphs that Mount Ruapehu is invisible from Taupo since Friday, owing to the wet weather. Its volcanic neighbour, Ngaruahoe, lias been in abnormal activity, and since tlio middle of February lias thrown up clouds of dust. The new geyser in Tokaonu townsb’p continues to give displays but its activity is decreasing. An earthquake was felt at Ohakunj on Tuesday night, accompanied by a rumbling sound. The ■vecther is too unsettled to permit an ascent of Ruapehu.
