The Late Mrs Dwyer.

Mr and Mrs H. McKenzie of Waihou, have been plunged into the sorrow of mourning the lo&s of a deeply loved relative, the late Mrs John Dwyer, of Cambridge. Mrs Dwyer was Mrs McKenzie’s el lest sister, and wife of Mr John Dypyer, who has been a faithful employee of Mr Carter, livery stablo proprietor, for twenty-nine years. It appears that on Friday last Mrs Dwyer went to Rotorua tp see her husband, who had been transferred to the Rotorua branch of the business. Deceased, feeling unwell, returned on Saturday morniog to Cambridge, and at once placed herself under medical treatment, the doctor advising her immediate removal to the Waikato Hospital, to which the invalid was accordingly conveyed the same night. On Sunday evening an operation for appendicitis was pev* formed, but afforded no relief, the unfortunate patient expiring shortly I after midnight, and a few brief hours later, Mr and Mrs McKenzie were greatly shocked to receive a telegram announcing the fact, their first intimation that the lady was even ill, The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Hamilton East Cemetery, and was largely attended, many local residents being present. The Rev. Radcliffe officiated ft the grave. De ceased was a daughter of Mr and Mrs Frances Crawford.
