- ' At the last meeting of the Wai'hi Hospital Trustees Dr. I Deck stated • that there was a rumour afloat in the . town to the effect that he was not. a v,'/- member of any medical association. ~ i He bad been a member of the British Medical Association. One of the trustees had used the term that he was .a black leg. He made the statement VS'%5 to .thretp of his friends in the Club, and it was overheard by Harry riv- Mleyers, and it was he who repeated it to Dr Deck. Dr Deck: It was not Mr Meyer, as I heard it in the town. Tli© Mayor: I. say it was Harry Meyers. f Mr Foster: Dr Ddck says it was . not Meyers who told him. If I had . been in the same position as Mevers should have told the doctor about it, as I consider that anything detrimental to his profession should be known hr hiimi.
