CONTRACTORS ABANDON THE WORK. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) DARGAVILLE, This Day. Messrs Brown and Sons, after six weeks’ work in endeavouring to upright the barque Wai-iti, which was capsized on January 28, have thrown up their contract, having fruitlessly expended several hundred pounds.
