narrow escape. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) SYDNEY, YesterdayThe Governor-General had a narrow escape from serious accident. While his carrie ge was descending the Big Jack mountain near Bombala, .the horses became restive and started to bolt down the "bill. The driver was thrown from his seat but retained the reins until mounted troopers were able to get hold of the horses and stop the flight.
