Ohinemuri Jockey Club’s Annual Meeting.
The Ohinemuri Jockey Club have put forward an attractive programme for the two days of their annual meeting, which is to be held at the Paeroa Racecourse on Saturday and Monday, March 16th and 18th. Eight events are programmed for each day, of which the Ohinemuri Cup, 115 sovs., and Paeroa. Handicap, 80 sovs., are the principal open handicaps. Liberal inducement is held out to the jumping class, there being two hurdle races and two steeplechases. The total stake money offered ;,is £7OO. There should be a good entry from Auckland stables Weights for the first day’s events will be declared to-day.
