[To the Editor.] Sir, —In the report of the Manawaru Co-operative Dairy Company I regret to find that there was a misstatement as regards the average amount paid by the New Zealand Dairy Association for butter-fat last season, which was given as 9.06. I was informed of this figure by several persons, and I verified it myself by reference to a newspaper report, and a comparison was drawn between the rival companies at Manawaru. lam 1 now informed that the actual balance' sheet of the New Zealand Dairy Association shows the average payment to have been 9 6d not 9‘o6d. Owing to the lapse of time (about 10 days) I am unable to find the newspaper which misled myself and others, and can only express my regret at having quite unintentionally allowed a misstatement to go into the report of the Manawaru Co-operative Dairy Association. —Yours, etc., Johx Squirrell, Secretary Manawaru Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd.
