Y A letter from Mr Waghorn called attention to the factthatjthe MatamataRoad Board .is turning foreign water > into Its land—Resolved that Mr Waghorn refer the matter to the Matamata Road Board., . . . Richmond Downs Road.—Mr Foshu’ wiote asking if it would be possible for the foreman, or one or more mem-' hors of the Board to meet him on tho ground and state exactly what the Board requires done. —Resolved that ihe Board meet him in about one month’s time. . A letter from the Department stated that they do not face up iron .poles, with wood, but had no objection to the Board doiug so.—Resolved that ~ the poles be faced up with wood and painted white. ' / - A letter from the Minister' for Railstated 1 hat the Board’s request lor a level crossing at a spot, indicated on the Te Aroha line, is being enquired into. Mr Massey, in a letter, stated that he has again appliod for a grant of two or three hundred pounds to be plac-d on the Supplementary Estimates which, however, will provide only a small sum., enabling only urgent cases to bo dealt with. Foremen’s Reports. Oomrac's finished on Mikkelseii’s Road, Wains-rougomai-Mangakawa road and Seds don’s road. McCabe’s contract fiuished on Rotorua road. Baker’s road paired. • Y v ' Tenders recommended for reforming 10 chains of Mace road and Ross rood. Mr McCabe interviewed the Board re tho clearing of road drain, anckoutlet running to Johnson’s Creek and offering to do either part if the Board would do the other. Resolved that the Board do outlet, tenders to be called for the other works in fourteen days. Foreman Mannion’s report stated that repairs to tho Richmond Downs road aud Alloa’s road would be put in hand during the coming month. Land Revenue.—Thirds amounted to £7 15s -Id. .
