Gordon Notes.
The weather continues wet and the roads ave showing the effect of inereas ing traffic. The G >rd<>n-To Aroha vo id is in very bad order, the metal being worn tinough in many places, and the resulting holes being deep and muddy, It seems a pity that the holes should not be filled up when first made, as the longer they are lelt the worse they become. The Gordon-Waharoa road is in a hopeless condition. Gordon can now lay claim to one of tho largest dairies in the Auckland Province in Mr Brady-s dairy of oyer 200 cows. The enterprising owner is having another house erected on his property to accommodate additional milkers. All the suppliers will reap the benefit of this increased supply in. the higher price paid for butter fat. Nothing more has been beard about lie proposed telephonic commmnication for the Gordon, but I suppose it will come in good tjnie.
