Tho directors mot at the works on Friday afternoon last at 2 p.m. and made a thorough tour of inspection of the works, and also decided on tho subdivision of paddocks. At a meeting held in town in tho evening it was decided to reply to the Trades and Labour Council that the Compkny was prepared to supply dead meat off the hooks, but that the Trades end Labour Council must arrange for distributing and the opening of shops. It was resolved to postpono the erection of a bacon factory until £2OOO worth more shares have been issued. Butter is coming in freely and prospects are decidedly good. j
