You can ask any o the. neighbours an’ they’ll every one tell vou what a ” . . “ Matters have reached this point, madam!” interrupted the doctor, “ Your husband has two chances. „ *• Two chances, you say, an ——j “He may die, as I was sayin to « And you may, madam— that’s his real chance ! ” blurted the do'ctoi as he passed out and banged the door after him. _ , Took it in Between Them.—Helen : “ How long did you stay in Paris on your trip to France ? ” Emma: “Oh, a week altogether. \ Helen: “ But surely ybu could not take in everything in such a short time ? ” „ , , Emma: “ But we did, all the same. You see, there were three- of us.
