Mr Hugh Poland, Liberal candidate for Ohinemuri electorate, speaks in the Public Hall to-moirow evening at 8 p.m.

Several persons at Christchurch have been fined various amounts for selling tainted milk and using dirty cans. Waihouvians are looking forward to the Football Club Social to be held in the Waihou Public Hall on Thursday, October 12th. On this occasion the senior and junior Champion Caps will be present to the Waihou Football Club.

The TeAroha Fire Brigade will hold their Annual Meeting on Monday evening next, when officers will be elected.
