The programme was opened ||j with a selection of National airs In |H the Black Family orchestra, which latei HI in the programme also gave a selection Hfrom the “Bohemian Girl.” Mi*f H\Nellie Black, always the people*’ H| favourite,, gave excellent renderings ol HL“ The Last Dream ” and TostiV‘Go >d ||l Bye,” and also displayed her wonderWul talents in farcial comedy. Mis: ■HElsie Black received an eucore for he Mjaoug “Moll}* Malone ” and also re;id®ered her flute solo j'n finished style Hand in her Poigiun dance, showed that Bsiie is undoubtley a clever and versatile performer. The cornet so’.o “ True p| Till Death” by Mr Bsrt Black was if exceptionally good, and his clever Sl'Americau dar.ee, his novelty act, “0 Ids HLand Ends,” apd the dance in a < JapWanese Courtship” with Miss Elsie fefgllack, w«r® greatly appreciated. One m oi the gems of the evening was Miss IE Nelli® Black’s splendid interpretation mot the violin solo"Zigcunerweisen” of H Sarasate, Mr J, Black was at his best || in the 6ongs “Has it ever occured to Hi You ” and m his sketch impersonation, H creating roars of laughter. He upgj peared with Afiss Black in two clover fa musical sketches, A mandoline quar IjYette, playefl with ipuch vigour, gained hih well deserved eqpore. Altogether It uhe entertainment is of an exceedingly Kfctiigh and finished order, aud reflects H great credjt on tfle Company.
