During th • course "f a recent enquiry in’o a charge made by the New Liberal Party regarding alleged iui proper p 'vmont to Captain Seddob, it w.-s prac ically alleged that the audit system, if judged by what took place at 'be investig ition, was defective, and left it open for fraud to be perpetrated. Besides a suggestion was made that it was not a complete check on the payments of public monies. Mr 'Seddon now announces to set the matter at rest Jonce and for all. The Govcrnmont has decided to appoint three judges to hold an enquiry into the allegation, the enquiry to be public, and all parties may be represented by counsel if they so desire. It will be held as early as possible.
