At the fifth general n eet.'ng of the New Zealand-Dairy Aesod tun, held in Auckland on Wednesday last, the fourth annual report and balance sheet were presented The past season has been a successful one, the quantity <>f milk received being lbs, the. total butt erf at 2,781.209 lbs, and the total butter made, 3,083,645 lbs. The average butterfat percentage for all c.eaiueries h<is been 3*729 per cent, and the average oveirun 10 874 per cent. . ... The company has forty nine rnilK r- ceiving F stations, J buttermaking s’ations. A dividetid of six per cent was paia on the paid up value of shares ,allotted prior to June 30 k last. \ , Profits on butterfat supplied have been allotted at the rate of threedarth* ings per pound, or a total of £8,691*5 o. Including dividend upon share capital and shareholders’ profit bonus, the actual payment for summer butterfat will be 8 3-8 d per lb to their - smallest and 9*3 8d to their largest creameries. > L’he average payment to shareholders at all creameries, including P^ ac ®® which have supplied not less than 400 lbs of butterfat weekly, will be almost exactly 9d per lb., withuut. any deductions. Tenpeuce per lb, plus profits, is being paid uniformly to all creameries for the present month of August. Notwithstanding increasing'; com"* petition, local sales last year constituted a record. ■■
