We are pleased to state that Mr John Robinson of Te Aroha, who re-. ceived a severe kick from a horse yesterday is, we learn on enquiry this morning, much better, and progressing favourably. A statement of Trust accounts for the last year was laid before the meeting showing that the debt on the church property had been reduced daring the year from £I6S to £92, Considerable time was given to a discussion concerning the raising of funds for the building of a new parsonage. The chairman stated that tenders would he invited for the new building in a few days. A large and representative committee of ladies and gentlemen was set up to arrange for a bazaar to be held next Easter. As the building of a parsonage is not of local interes: only, but is the work of the circuit, i is believed that this will be by far iho largest bazaar ever held in Te Aroha, Many people are already at work at Morrinsville and other parts of the circuit. A lai’ge swarm of bees has taken possession of the space between the boai’ds in the south wall of the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Morrinsville. The proprietor is now wondering how to effectually got. rid of them.
