Wellington, This Day-

The House resumed at 7.30 p.m. and went in o Committee of Supply for further consideration of the estimates.

The rote for the Legislative Departments was passed unaltered after considerable discussion. Tho vote for the Colonial Treasurer's Department also gave rise to a lengthy discussion and was eventually agreed to without alteration. The House rose at 1 a.m.

Hearty the whole afternoon was occupied in discussing the report of the Lands Commit f ee on the petition from the lessee of Rotokare Domain for compen iation. Jibe debate was interruptod by tho 5.30 p.m. adjournment.
