Mr Eeid and others argued that it was never intended that the Minister should use the arbitratory powers given him in the manner. Mr Lyue had practically found the Massey-Harris Company guilty without giving them a chance of replying, and that an action taken in such a manner would prevent any redress. Mr Lyne replied that if it was wished to bring an action against the Government that he would be given every facility to do so.
