Notice is hereby given that tkePiako County Council at its meeting to be held at Morrinsville on Wednesday, the 16th day of August, 1905, at 9.30 a.m., intends to make the following rates: — 1. A General Hate under Secs 148 and 149 of “ The Counties Act, 1886,” and Section 4 of “ The Counties’ Act Amendment Act, 1903,” of One Penny per Pound on the capital value of the Rateable Property in the Ridings of Waitoa, Matamata, Te Aroha, Pate* tere and Taotaoroa. 2. Separate Rates under Sec 5 of “ The Counties’ Act Amendment Act, 1903,” of One Halfpenny per Pound on the capital value of the Rateable Property in the respective Ridings of Patetere and Taotaoroa, and One Farthing per Pound on the capital value of the Rateable Property in the Riding of Te Aroha. These rates are to be made for the year from Ist April, 1905, to 3lst March, 1906, and each will be payable in one sum to the undersigned on the 28th day of August, 1905, at the County Office, Te Aroha, whore the Rate Book is now OPEN for inspection during office hours.
