Obituary.

During the past week two what might be termed old identities, have passed over to the great majority. We refer to George Ebert and Jdm Farrell. Both gentlemen died in Auckland, in which city' they have lived for some years; the former died on Saturday and the latter on Sunday morning. Mr Ebert for many' years was the proprietor of the Palace Hotel, Te Aroha, while Mr John Fairell carried on the draper shop right opposite, now owned by Messrs Hetlierington & Co. [By Telegraph Press Associaton.] Christchurch. This day. Mrs Acland, widow of the late Hon. J. B, Aclnnd, aged 75, and eldest daughter of the late Bishop Harper of Dunedin.
