OUR COUNTY COUNCILLORS.
[ToUhe Editor.] Sir I have been informed that, after reading a letter from Mr McGloin at the Council meeting cm Wednesday iist one of the Councillors gave utter ance to the remark. “Ob 1 he must keep bees, and one of them must have cnU in his head !” Sir, this is not a very nice way to refer to anybody who might feel it his duty to write to the Council. Kindly enlighten me as to the accuracy of'his report, did any of the Councillors make use outlie sentence quoted above ? lam given to understand it was one of the “ absentee members ” that spoke so disparagingly of 'l lo Riako Ratepayers’ Reform Association Champion. —I am etc,, ~ “ Rater ayer.” [The remark was made by one of the Councillors.—Ed.
