Thames Valley Co-op Dairy Co

At an extraordinary meeting of tho Thames Valley Co-operative Dairying Company on Mondayilast, the following resolutions passed at the annual meeting of shareholders were confirmed :

(1). That the capital of the company be increased to £IO,OOO by the* creation of 2,500 new shares of £2 each; (2). That clause 2of the articles of association be altered by substituting the words “ on the first Monday in August” for the words “on the first Monday in July;” (3). That the following be added to clause 4 of the articles of association:—- “The suppliers at each creamery shall elect one director to represent the suppliers to s ich creamery, and the remainder of the number of directors shall be elected by the shareholders at annual meetings.” - It was also resolved on the motion of Mr Bellamy, seconded by Mr Maxwell, that it be a reoommendation to the directors that they all retire at the end of the present year, so as to enable the resolution passed at the annual meeting of shareholders, regarding the method of electing directors, to be carried out at next election of directors.
