[By Telegraph.—Press Association.] LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. Wellington, This Day. The Criminal Code Amendment Bill, Jubilee Institute for Blind Bill, Evidence Bill, and Property Law Amendment Bill was read a second time. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The Old Age Pensions Bill was considered in Committee. Amendments were made increasing the income of disqualification from £52 to £6O and reducing the property disqualification from £270 to £260, A concession was also made iu computing income and c ipital value of property held by hus baud aud wife, and where claimant owns the house in which he resides. The bill was reputed and the lious*roso at midnight. A lengthy debate took place on Hogg's Flour Duty Abolutiou Bill, debate continuing until the dinner adjournment; Mr Seddon stated he would inform the House on Tuesday what course the Gaverment proposed to pursue in regard to the reports of the Lands Commission.
