[By Telegraph—Press Association] Wellington, This Day; Bishcp Wallis, in opening his address to the synod, said tho following text of the proposition t > be submitted as a plebiscite on the Bi'ole in Schools question:—are you in favour of the proposal that the stale schools shall be opened daily with the Lords Prayer, and that in these schools bible lessons shall be taught children during school hours subject to a conscience clause of for teachers and scholars. This as only question that would he put forward and would be warnrd by tbe result of referendum iu Victoria, they were determined if a plebiscite is granted for tnis colony there should be no ambignity about its significance.
