Volunteer Notes.
Firing for the Pilling and Mclndoe medals on Thursday. Very good entries have been received and some of the old shots are in fair form, those that were out last Thursday put up some good scores. Wallace, 39 out of a possible 40 at 200, and the pos-
sible at 500; McKee and Salmon, with 37 out of 40, and 4 short of the possible 10 shots at 500yds. If a few more could be got to go into practice’, the Piakos would again have a team ] fit to challenge with. On Friday A Squadron, Hamilton, hold their annual ball, a hearty complimentary invitation has been received for members of the Piako. Should any member wish to attend, tickets are available from the secretary. On Thursday 20th, is the regular parade at which every member must be present.
