PARLIAMENTARY.
THE PREMIER STILL CONFIDENT. TAYLOR SPEAKS OUT. [By Telegraph.—Press Association.] Wellington, This Day, The Debate on the Imprest Supp Bill proceeded throughout the evening. The D fence D pertinent came in for a good deal of adverse criticism, and Mr T. E. Taylor said he had his gloves off, and he would endenvour to shift Seddon from his position.] Seddon said he was not afraid of next November, and he was satisfied the people of the colony had not lost: confidence in the present administration. The Bill eventually passed all its stages on the voices. The House rose at 4 a.m.
LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Legislative Council then'imet and put the Bill though all its st^gfek. Mr Wigram’s Bill to amend the constitition of the Legislative Council was read for the first time. The debate on the address-in reply was advanced another stage. Nearly the whole of the afternoon was occupied in debating on the Imprest Supply Bill.
