Father Hays
[3yTelegraph—Press Association.] Wellington, June 30. Father Hays has addressed 38,500 persons duiing his. New Zealand tour, and J 5,.475 pledges have been taken at 42 meetings. His last appearance in Wellington will be at a reception given tliis afternoon by Sir Robert and Lady Stout. A ' ' The Governor and Lady Plunket ape to be present, and the others invited include Sir J. G. Ward, Archbishqp Redwood, and Bishop Wallis, ' Father Hays leaves Wellington for the North next Monday, and has eight more meetings in the colony.
