Russian Naval Revolt

[by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] St Petersburg, June 30. Vice-Admiral Kruger, with four warships, quitted Sevastopol and is proceeding to Odessa to summon the Kniazpotemkin to surrender. The vessel will be sunk. Thereafter Vice-Ad-miral Kruger will assist the authorities. Consuls of various nations have asked the warships to protect foreigners. Sailors at Pie naval barracks at Libau revolted and wrecked the barracks and storehouses. They attacked the officers’ houses, and fired rifles at the windows. Artillery was summoned, and a force of Cossacks regiment went to the harbour, and fighting resulted with loss of life.

An outbreak on the Revai is also reported. The volunteer cruiser Saratoff has been burned at Odessa.
