The timber for the Wesleyan Church is arriving and being stacked on the ground, it. is probable the Church will be finishod in about two months Foreman Wattnm was busy repairing tho road through Mr Allen’s property on Friday. Most of the roads around hero are getring in a bad state. There are many people who would like to see Mr Lnrnoy’s suggestion at the Council meeting carried out and a meeting of tho ratepayers called to see if the Road Board could not be merged into tho County, so that, more money would bo available for tho roads instead of being spont in office expenses.
