Volunteer Easter Encampment.
Messrs Napier and Fowlds, M.H.Rs., are endoavoring to get the Government, through the Premier, to guarantee £1 for each of the volunteer’s time at the Easter encampment, which they urge should last one week. Unthe request is granted (and these contend that the Government need not pay until parliamentary authority is received, and that parliar ment and the country will support), the Easter encampment can only befor three days, and they feel it- should be made'a reality and not a sham byadopting their suggestion, and extendthe time to a week and recouping, the men to the extent of £1 each-
