Community Starving.
Adelaide,. Yesterday; An American vessel which touched at Palmerston Island on February 7th, reports that the small community, of 50 inhabitants ar.e almost starving. They had'no'communication with the outside world for nine months, The Captain 4 left a supply of provisions. He was requested to notify the condition of the people to Sydney and. Mr Harris, of Raratonga.
