Hearing that;' through the agency of the “ Frees " more men fund, the fourth contingent was to- be supplied with boxes of comforts similar to those given to members of the previous contingents,. the American- Tobacco Company generously came forward and offered to supply each member with a 2-ounce packet of Old Judge tobaceco free of charge, besides this* they themselves gm*g' 3200 packages to the contingent. In cash and goods the company has already given some £I4OO for the benefit of the soldiers at the front.
