FIRST DAY.

I'm; first day of th" Te Aroha Jockey Club’s annual meeting was held on Saturday afternoon last. The day was fine, but a- stiff breeze was blowing, rising; m considerable amount of dust, marring, to a great extent, the afternoon’s outing.
