The committee decided that the rehearsal of this work must he postponed in the meantime, as it would take too long to get the music from England. The secretary was instructed to communic te with the Devonport, Parnell, and Remuera musical societies, asking if they had any cantatas or choruses for sale or hire, and the torms on which they could be obtained. As soon as music can be procured it will at once be put in rehearsal.
