The Patriotic Fund.
The following interesting letter has been received by the Treasurer of this Fund : Hot Springs Hotel, 16th Jan., 1900 Dear Sir, —The little people who are staying at the Hot Springs Hotel wish to show that they are not forgetful of the brave soldiers who are fighting for us in South Africa and of their little boys and girls, who may be left fatherless. All by ourselves we held a little concert this evening, and at the end we made a collection for the Fund. Enclosed you will find one pound, which we collected, I remain, yours trmly, ■■■ 5 . -»*■ Hoie Nathaw.
The following is the programme of the concert : Chorus, “Little Bird You Are Welcome” ; recitation by Misses M. and P. Lindsay ; pianoforte solo by Miss R. Nathan ; recitation, Master F. Jefferson ; pianoforte solo, Miss D. Nathan ; reoitation by Miss H. Lindsay ; “ God Save the Queen Collection in aid of War Fund.
The Treasurer thankfully acknowledges ‘receipt of the £1 donation, which has been duly placed on the list.
