The removal of the schoolhouse from Te Aroha West still continues to cause a great deal of excitement in the neighbourhood. The old saying is “you miss the water when the well is dry.” Will not that proverb apply to the Bible class as well as the school house. We well understand the reason why the parents object to the removal of the schoolhouse, and yet the parents of children will let Mr Deyey toiling out from Te Aroha week after week, through darkness and mire, fc4 the good of the children* and what dcrahey do to help him, > they turn out themselves and bring their children with them. Let me in all kindness ask them a question. Do they want their children to grow up as Christians or free thinkers 1 Children, often follow in their parents footsteps. Now, when they are young, is the time to instill, good religious teaching into their minds, of" will you let them run wild. Your ausMer will be in the help you give Mr Devey. Actions speak louder than words.
