Thames-Paeroa Railway.

The number of men employed on the \ Thames-Paeroa Railway formation works has recently been considerably increased, and consequently capital progress is being made with the line. The ballast engine is now running down as far as Kopu, and between that point and this end of the line several parties are at work overhauling the old culverts laid down some years ago, and also in thoroughly overhauling the large bridge across the Kauaeranga River. Numbers of men are also at work on the Knraka Creek crossing, and the head stocks are already in position. 7 -
