DOMAIN CONTROL.

We have seen a wire which the Mayor (Mr Mills) has received from Mr Cadman, in which he states that the Lands Departmeu , who have control of the Domain, have not yet been officially notifiecUof the election of the Borough Council. As soon as that notifiction is received the Department will see to the insertion in the Gazette of the necessary notice vesting control of the Domain in the Borough Council. We understand that the'necessary formal notification has been sent to YVellington, but not until the delay in its despatch became‘a subject for comment. ,:/-■■■ -
