TH»<J»atterly Meeting of the Upper Thames Weeleyan-Circuifc was held at Te Aroha cm the SOth ult. Rev S. GrifSth, Superintendent of the circuit, presided, and there were present the Beva J. W. Burton and W. Beckett* fifteen other office-bearers-A cordial welcome was extended to the new Waihi minister, the Rev W. who already gives promise pf a’vcr'yaaccetsful ministry. The-ahairman was requested to convey by letter, the condolences of the meeting to the widow and family of the late Mr J. Farmer; and also the eonaesional secretary, Bev VV. Morley, ox the •ceagttojn of his wife’s sudden death. At the local preachers’ meeting, which was held'at 6.30 o’clock the same evening, a very cordial welcome was extended to ‘Mr Henry Lawn, on hie'return to ihiscircuiti from Reefton; and a 100 to Mr Arthur Roach, a local preacher, at Waihi, who has just arrived from England.
