Recent Floods at Paeroa .

The Ohinemuri County Council have put/on- large gangs of men on the Paeroa road, and to-day a passage was made through some of the slips caused by the flood, the coaches thus being enabled to reach Paeroa. The Government have also a large staff of men employed on the Paeroa-Te Aroha railway. Two ballast engines are at work, and it is anticipated that the line will be so far repaired as to allow the train to reach here by Tuesday or Wednesday.
