Nominations were received yesterday for the position, of Councillors, when die following were nominated :-r“ Samuel Leonard Bygrave, \ Alex. Watson Ed war Is, Edward Gallagher, Samuel Lather Hirst, William Henry Knock, Charh 8 Elia Lamb, . Putrick O’Meagher, . Samuel Tozer Smardon, David McL -an Wallace. As will be seen from an advertisement in another o oumu, the Returning Officer notifies that the election of Councillors will take, place, on Saturday 9th July at S mar don’s Hall between 9a.m. and 6 p.m.
